design suggestion

I've used this mulcher for two seasons now and I have a suggestion. I think this product could be greatly improved if the bottom support area just above where the mulched leaves fall into the hopper were made thinner. Currently, the plastic beams that support the motor are wide enough to keep the mulched leaves from dropping down to the hopper, which necessitates having to stop the motor numerous times to clear the main cabin by hand.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Makes leaf clean up a breeze

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Took the huge pile of leaves from our heavily wooded backyard and reduced it to less than a fourth of original size. Easy to use. No trips to the dump this year for leaf debris!

Makes great compost material!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We vacuum with the Trivac directly into this mulcher for ultra fine compost-works great. Powerful motor and like how it breaks down to store.

Mulched a huge pile of leaves into 2 large leaf bags in less than 15 minutes! Actually worked better than I thought it would. Very pleased with purchase!

Hate it and love it

It works great BUT. The mulched leaves get in behind the on/off switch and you cant get the switch to go in all the way to shut it off. There doesn't seem to be a way to remove the cover of the switch to clean it out. I have tried using a compressed air to blow it out, but some remains and again, I cant get the switch pushed back in to shut off. Poor design IMO.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
