I own both the leaf muncher and the turbine vacuum. With the muncher I'm stopping to replace the plastic tines too frequently; whereas the turbine vacuum has metal blades which never need replacing. Put more substantial tines in the mulcher and I'd rate the mulcher 5 stars.
Purchase the mulcher knowing the plastic tines need to be replaced frequently.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This a no-frills, rugged mulching machine. I took an entire mound full of magnolia leaves, pine leaves and oak leaves which stood about four feet high and ground it in to fine, particulate mulch within two hours. Very sturdy and well worth the wait.

Decent Job

Only used once so far. Mulched my leaves pretty well. Need to be downwind as the small bits of leaves fly up in you face. Some harder leaves like the oak leaf don't break down as small. Like that it can be closed down and stored away.

Verdict after 1 afternoon's use: Serviceable

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have only used this machine once, but it was a long afternoon. It seems to do what WORX claims. My only regret is that the cutting lines wear out really quickly. I ordered an extra package of them when I bought the machine, just on a hunch. I'm glad I did, but I'm going to be tempted to try some wire cut to similar lengths when these are used up. Maybe someone can suggest why I shouldn't do this ... ?

Good Leaf Shredder

I ordered online, with some hesitation. I was happy with the way it worked. It worked better with larger leaves (sycamore and oak, specifically). Smaller leaves (from elm trees, specifically) seem to pass thru the mulching without as much mulching. I was a little disappointed to see the monofilament line was gone after about 10 bags of mulch. But overall, I am happy with the mulcher

Works ok, but the plastic line should be metal

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The plastic flex line used to cut the leaves wears down way too quickly. I tried to remove as many of the branches and hard items from the leaves as I could and I was still going through a pair of flex line for every two bags of leaves I dumped or every few minutes. If a steel or some other metal line could be used that would be ideal. I bought some 14 gauge solid copper wire that I plan to use next time because at the rate I was going though the plastic red line I will be out very soon and sill be constantly buying more every time I rake leaves. I need something that will last longer for sure.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] A well designed lightweight shredder that does exactly as advertised. As a long time owner of Worx products I offer Kudos to Worx Engineers.
