Works quickly

Used this for the first time this fall and it has been easy to set up and use. In a little more time than it takes to bag leaves, we mulched them, providing winter protection to the crape myrtles and to our perrenials in the garden, then food and a weed barrier next year. Plus, no wasted plastic bags. It works quickly. It does go through the plastic lines— so purchase extra, but they are quick and easy to replace.

Makes picking up leaves fun (not really)

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a very handy tool to minimize the efforts of taking. I have three 40 foot oaks that drop a lot of leaves. Making piles, and then dumping into this mulched is fast and easy. Saves a lot of bags to the street. Big fan.

Too good not to buy!

I was looking at many trips to my local dump with bags and bags of leaves, after hours of raking. Too much! After I bought this mulcher, I couldn't wait to get to the cleanup! Man, this mulcher did not disappoint! It chews up everything, including small sticks (that was an accident). Now that all the leaves have fallen, I'm going to get rid of the last of them in the near future! Best yard cleanup tool ever!!

design flaw

two problems: the plastic line as it degrades doesn't mulch the leaves in the pot and they get clogged. You end up after ten minutes having to stir the pot and it is highly inefficient. Other issue is the degraded plastic is mixed in with my leaf mulch which I intend to use in my vegetable garden and I dont want to have all these microplastic pieces mixed in my soils being absorbed by them and the vegetables I am growing.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I have purchased the leaf vacuum / blower and the mulcher. I have found them to be an excellent system to gather leaves and mulch them in to trash bags. Our trash removal service takes the bags each month so there is no need for a trip to the dump.

This product was very easy to unpack, assemble, and use right out of the box. It did a better than expected job of chopping up dry leaves, but a facemask is suggested for the dust!
