Not for live oak or other small leaves

I purchased this item after reading a review that stated it was suitable for leaves of live oaks. NOT SO! If you live in southern states where live oak trees thrive, then don't waste your money as I did. The leaves are just too small and the majority just thrash around in the hopper without being pulverized. I tried introducing different leaf volumes, but without success. This mulcher is NOT designed for small (2") slender leaves.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our city stops yard waste pickup mid-November and of course my leaves came after that. After raking up 13 bags the first go around and 22 the second time I had to find an easier way to get rid of all the leaves. This mulcher is wonderful. I'm a female senior and can use this with no problem. It works great and not too heavy for me to use. It uses bags to catch the mulch and it has a wide area on the top to toss in the leaves. Again a great product!

I put this to work as soon as it came in. Easy assembly. The mulch looks very good so we spread around flower beds.

I was struggling with leaf management due to some physical limitations, and this product made it not only easier but faster. I could get my yard under control in minutes what normally took me hours. I am so happy that I bought this Worx Leaf Mulcher. I was simply amazed at how quickly it mulched up my giant pile of leaves. And the leaves are chopped up so finely. Some of them are like powder! As an added bonus, It was actually an easy and fun experience!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this last fall and probably bagged 70 or 80 50 gallon trash bags full. It worked awesome just as long as it's not overloaded. Very easy to store and put up for the summer and winter.

Used this unit 2 seasons and the motor brushes burnt up. Worx doesn't make or have any replacement brushes.
So stay away from the model because once the brushes are done you're stuck with a piece of shiz that can't be fixed.

I was not sure what to expect but I was very pleased with the mulcher. I bought it to use some of my leaves as garden mulch but it also significantly sped up the whole process of cleaning the yard. Went from about 45 bags of leaves to about 10, but I wasn’t being that efficient - I am sure it could have been fewer bags. When it is on I couldn’t throw the leaves in fast enough. It kept up with my wife and I loading at the same time by hand. Highly recommend safety glasses and a mask as it is a dusty job when the leaves are dry. The glasses are more to keep the dust out of my eyes than any projectiles. Seemed to me a safe and efficient leaf mulcher. Very happy with it overall.
