ANOTHER GREAT WORX TOOL & TIME SAVER

This machine performs efficiently and is user-friendly.
I purchased the leaf mulcher in the anticipation of the end of the annual curbside loose leaf pick up program, replacing it with bagged leaves for curbside collection. After heated city hall debate, it postponed for this year.
The mulcher reduced a pile of leaves equivalent to 6 to 8 33 gallon size barrels into 1 1/2 collapsible Worx barrels of leaf bits in a few minutes.
For the best operation, shred dry leaves free of twigs and pieces of branch, do not overload the hopper, and stop the machine periodically to clear the shredder platform of any accumulated debris.
I recommend the use of a mask, hearing and eye protection.

Reduces leaves by 2:1 at most & uses so much line

Disappointing! I used this shredder on numerous bags of dry oak leaves with no branches. Reduced the volume by 50% at most. Line must be replaced after every 8 scoops of leaves. I already recycled the box, so I can't return.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this before my maple trees let loose of their fall color. The leaf mulcher is the greatest, wish I would have had it years ago. Easy to set up and change line, and amazing how much went into a bag before it filled up. Wish I would have had years ago!

Excellent Purchase! Why did I wait so long?

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I looked at this product for quite sometime before purchasing. I read tons of reviews and watched numerous videos. I wish I had not waited so long to purchase! It works wonderful! I have a large garden with both raised beds and in-ground. This provided so much leaf mulch and it was extremely easy to use. It was also easy for me to assemble and the line is not hard to change at all! I could not be more pleased! I can't wait to use this every fall and I know my garden will benefit immensely!
