The printer does not work well with MacOS. To print, I have to turn-off the printer and restart. The auto power-off mode does not work.

I really like this printer. My spouse and I have a need to print things but sporadically. With an inkjet printer, this was problematic - quite often the ink was dried out and required a lot of maintenance to rectify, not to mention the cost of the ink.
This printer, regardless of the cost, is a Godsend. When we want to print we don't have to worry about clogged inkjets. Also, the reproduction is fantastic.
My one concern is why the position of the copy has to be manually adjusted about a 1/4" from the margin.

I am so impressed with this printer with its ease of operation and how quiet it runs. After owning HP lasers all my adult life, all I did was battle mechanical and software issues for the past 15 years with my old HP. So glad I switched to this Brother model.

print qulaity is good, but only complaint is it takes too long to print after you hit the print button. Minor as it is, but other printers start printing as soon as you hit print. Also it took a while to setup. Small display window made it difficult to type in your internet info. in todays world, you shouldbe able to plug it in and go.

Good printer for the price- manual feed issues

Overall a good experience with the printer so far. I print mostly color and am happy with the results. It's a bit on the slow side - I use wireless and I'm not sure if that's the slow point or it's in my system. I do mostly 2 sided printing and it does jam on occasion. I've had difficulty using the manual feed on waterproof paper which has a plastic coating- it doesn't always grab the paper and feed and sometimes the printing is not square to the edges.
