I've used GE appliances for years.

Simple and easy to use

We purchased this washer and dryer set for my mom. She loves how easy it is to use and the simplicity. It’s very large inside for what she needs. It’s not a smart set so it’s a lot easier for her to use as an older person. It was easy to installand it’s very quiet. It does have a buzzing sound once the load is complete and it works great for every day use

Dryer not working

The dryer worked for 2 days and now it tumbles but does not heat so the clothes are not drying. I spent several hours today trying to get some help with no results

The first place we recommend checking is the ductwork. You will want to look for any obstructions or tears that allow air to escape. We also recommend checking that the filter is completely clean before each cycle.

Thr dryer is fine in every way except there is no light, which is inconvenient. Also, the venting "tube" is much too big and bulky and takes too much room. Perhaps it could be more flexible?
