great basic dryer

dryer is much smaller than my previous dryer. this basic dryer works great if you don't need all the bells whistles. I gave it four stars because I really do want to be able to turn off the horrible noise it makes when the clothes are dry

From day one made a scarping noise. Called GE and sent a tech to look at it. He said problem with frame. Deyer should be replaced. Called and was told would not replace would have to rebuild. Delivered all pieces to replace frame plus a drum. I am a 73 year old under 5 ft tall trying to get these boxes in my house!! Doesn't sound reasonable to me.
