Poor Quality Control

Stove arrived with some of the enamel paint flaking off the top of the control panel. This should never have left the factory. It was very obvious, so I don't know why they missed it. The stove replaced another GE stove that was failing after 14 years. Build quality is definitely not a good as the old stove. Only two wire racks come with the stove (lighter than the 3 old enameled racks on the old stove). Drawer underneath has no handle and is made of much lighter steel. Stove itself is deeper than the old stove, so it sticks out about 2" beyond the countertop. The interior of the stove is not as wide as the old stove (old racks won't fit because they are wider). Control knobs are plastic, like the old ones, so no upgrade there. Some of the rubber sealant around the glass cooktop appears to have stuck on the enameled metal surrounding it. I've only had the stove for one day and the dealer is already ordering a part to replace the top of the control panel where the enamel paint flaked off. On the plus side, all the burners seem to work. We haven't tried the oven yet so I can't comment on how the accuracy of the temperature settings, convection roast/bake settings or air fry actually perform. The control panel light is much brighter than on our old GE stove. I was able to set up the Wi-Fi connection and link it to the Google Home account and was able to execute a command to preheat the oven to 350 degrees and to turn off the oven. Not sure how helpful the Wi-Fi will be on a day-to-day basis. We were not looking for this function, it just happened to come with this model.

Very complicated to reduce heat during baking timer buzzer is almost inaudible. Tried to make it louder and online tech couldn’t get it.

Arrived defective

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Its not great. It showed up with a defective fan so we cannot use the airfry option until it is repaired, which will be approximately 6-8 weeks. Additionally the cord space in the back is TINY and razor sharp. It is very difficult to safely lay the power cord in a way the range will sit against the back wall. Overall I wish I went with a different brand.

Oven heats up stove top to 160 degrees-Not Safe!

Horrible Design-with just the oven on, the stove top can get up to 160 degrees!! Extreme safety hazard for children and adults. That’s correct, just heating the oven to 400 degrees for 1 hour (not turning on the stove top, just the oven) heats the stove top (cook top) to 160 degrees. I had a candle in a glass jar on top of the stove (not lit) and the wax was bubbling at the top of the glass jar - in addition I had a Calphalon stainless steel pan empty on the stove top and I couldn’t even touch it because it was so hot.
I do not understand why this stove has this horrible design flaw. It needs to be a safe oven and stove top. Do not purchase!

Not In Love With It

Not in love with it. This is my first glass top electric oven, not sure I would like any other brands better. First the stove top takes a long time to heat up for searing. The oven takes a very long time to preheat. When it does reach temperature there is the slightest of sounds to indicate it. It does not display what the oven temperature is. The oven does do a good job cooking/baking.
