Control panel light

I wish there was a red light on the control panel showing you when the oven is on. Recently I thought I had turned the oven off only to find out 2 1/2 hrs later it was still on. Not very energy efficient when this happens.

so far so good.. only been a couple of weeks but working just fine.
The only thing I suggest is that the factory run the oven for a few minutes before delivery.
The first time we used the oven there was so much smoke we had to open the windows.. we thought there was something wrong.. but eventually the smoke stopped .

GREAT RANGE - EXCEPT FOR TIMER

The only negative is not being able to view timer when the oven is baking. The display only shows temperature and unable to switch to timer.
