Great set but with missing pieces

It was a nice set to start with. I really loved the details around the set. However, there were way too many missing pieces for this new set and I found some random pieces which I never got to use instead, which prevented me from making any further progress. It was a bit disappointing.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

These were the best of times…

Great set. Fun details. Love the bones in the basement and cheese in the mouse house. I have grown weary of the missing or incorrect pieces. I appreciate that there are thousands of pieces in the set but to miss a set of mini figure legs and send a green cone in it stead. A unique figure for certain, but not what I paid for and again I will wait to finish this one. So many of my larger sets of late have missing pieces. I would argue poor quality but what I get fits together as it should. Careless packaging maybe. Still frustrating for the price paid and the reason behind the purchase, gift giving. Here, enjoy this Lego set, I hope

Fun Build

I’ve enjoyed building this set. Having grown up so close to NYC, I’ve gone to the Museum of Natural History plenty of times. This set brought back a lot of great memories with my mom. Like many others though, I wish there was an explanation to some of the pieces. And I would’ve loved another skeleton, like a T Rex.
