Am modular building for Lego's History
on December 3, 2023

Once again, Lego has done an outstanding job building a modular building, going outside the standards by using 1.5 base plates as the interior and exterior detailing as well as incorporating "past products" easter eggs shows that although the company wanted to do a "museum" to show history, they also wanted to incorporate their history as well.
While building this modular, assembling many displays and using a variety of unique building styles, even reading the notes about references from past modular builds.
Like all builds, there have been some repetition such as the lego windows to building the skeleton, but NO STICKERS, something modular fans a re grateful for as the company has finally heard our desires.
As someone who built this modular building I strongly suggest to those who might be interested, but aren't sure, to buy this set as it its worth it and just how the exhibits shows the past and future possibilities, the sky's the limit as I look forward to Lego's future modular building products, hoping that each would surpass the previous in detail while also telling a story.

One of the Best

I loved the detail of the pieces inside the museum. Very good. The only complaint I have and I have had it with other sets are the books are too thick to handle easily. I preferred the multiple books that would lie flat This set along with the dry flower arrangement were amazing.

As always, this LEGO kit didn't disappoint! My 12 year old grandson opened it up and had it assembled in no time. A wonderful addition to his ever growing city.

A Museum That Leaves Me Lost

This set is a fine addition to your Lego city and a decent addition to the annual modular building lineup, but it’s certainly not amazing. The set feels empty for a museum, and the minifigures feel lackluster. I would have hoped for more for a set of this size. I am happy that we have something better than the 2023 Modular, but this still feels like a let down.

This is my 2nd modular building (I have thr boutique hotel) and I just love the details of the museum. It's the little extras that make it super unique. I found the instructions pretty clear to assemble and it was an enjoyable build

Great Fun... With a Lull

This is our 15th modular build. We build every year and this was no exception - the release date being moved up actually helped our holiday schedule a lot! Thank you for that!
The build was split between myself and my wife. We both love to find the special LEGO Easter eggs and the story woven in from past modular builds. We love the stories and care that the designers include and understand the growth of this treasured line of legos. We don't get bent out of shape by the risks that some builders can gripe over such as color selections, piece count or the minifig numbers. Those are understandable decisions that happen in the process - However this build has a few "missing pieces" in the sense of opportunities lost. We loved Assembly Square the other large build so much because of the details and variety of story telling. The boutique hotel similarly packed in alot as an anniversary set looking back and also forward (if you looked closely). This set wanted to really celebrate LEGO's history but there just seemed to be a few details missing that could have put it on the level of the previously mentioned builds. I have no problem paying the few extra dollars for the premium that these sets generally offer - please in the future throw in the few extra details consistently across the entire set that raises the bar that the modulars have been known for.

i’ve been really into the modular buildings recently and this is by far my favorite. relatively easy but satisfying seeing it all come together and a lot of cool little pieces in the museum. love the statues out front and all the small details in the build. 100% recommend
