Should have bought last year!

Finally bought one and received the day before the snow hit this last year. Worked like a champ! Did my driveway and next door's driveway on one set of batteries. This replaced an old two cycle that was hard to start and you smelled like fuel when you were finished.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Relatively lightweight. Easier on my back than a big snow blower.

Great snow blower for lighter tasks

This is a great lightweight snow thrower for lightweight snow removal. I bought it as a backup to my gas-powered snowblower. I have a driveway that is approximately 2000 square feet. A week ago we had about 3 inches of light, fluffy snow, and it cleared it with ease. It was easier than using my gas snowblower and it cleaned the driveway better (right down to the asphalt). The batteries died before I had finished clearing the driveway, so I put in a new set. I finished the driveway and had 3 out of 5 battery power lights left on the second set.
Today, we had about 5 inches of more dense, compactable snow. It took three sets of batteries to complete the driveway with 2 lights remaining. It did not do well on the more compacted snow at the foot of the driveway left by the snow plow. I could have used it, but it would have eaten up a lot more battery power. I decided to use my gas-powered snow blower for that.
Conclusion: It is a great snow thrower for snow up to 5-6 inches (I have not tested it on deeper amounts). If the snow is light and fluffy, it works like a champ. If it is wet snow, it will handle it, but it will take more battery swaps. I highly recommend that you have two extra sets of batteries if you have a driveway like mine or at least one extra set for smaller driveways. Also, realize that when the batteries are depleted, they are warm and will not charge right away until cool.
Mechanical: I found the rotating handle to adjust the direction of the chut to be difficult to use, and after a few minutes of use, the pin slid out, and the handle became disconnected. I put the pin back in but decided not to use the handle. Instead, I just grabbed the chut body and rotated it. This was pretty easy to do, and, in fact, I found it easier than using the handle to rotate the chut. Other than that, I found the unit to be designed well. The handles fold easily for storage, and the unit is lightweight and can be carried using the handle.

Lightweight, easy to maneuver

I bought this for small amounts of snow and so far it is perfect for that. I was worried about the needing to recharge the batteries during a clearing of snow on my 2400 sq ft application, but not an issue (at least in 1.5” of snow). It is easy to maneuver, super lightweight and clears snow to the cement.

2 major issues

The unit turns off intermit when using it. I found that the safety button (on the right of the handle). Becomes disengaged. Holding the start bar close to the switch is how to keep it engaged. I have not tried to open the assembly to adjust the pressure switch and verify the solution.
The pre assemble turn chute control does not stay in place. to use the chute you must turn it manually. there is no easy access to resolve this issue.
During the last 3 storms it was great and I could complete 4 car driveway and 4 house walkways before running out of power.
Hangs on the wall when not un use. Battery charges quickly. My neighbor were impressed with the power. Battery also fits my other worx tools

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Had other WORX battery products so I figured may as well try out this snow blower. I've got a back disease so it's not always easy to maneuver any gas machines I have anymore. I was concerned due to the plastic but I handled the hard stuff where the plow buries me in easily enough! I've have another company's electrical blower so I am familiar with what you can and can't tackle.I disnt want to be tethered with a cord. I do have gravel in some spots Not everything is pristine in the woods! She handled it well but there really should be a SNOW SKID SHOE OPTION for people like me. I know I'm already going to need a new scraper . There's not much I can do when the plow piles up rocks at the base of my driveway. I can't see what's under the snow. Skid Shoes would preserve that scraper. Also there should be an on off switch for the lights. they drain the battery each time you start and stop. DEFINITELY can get 25 mins of blowing but order yourself extra batteries if you have a larger driveway. I have 6 batteries and I get all of it done with 2 and then use the others for keeping up when needed. The pictures added are from a 2nd use of the blower after a storm from 12-2-25 . It shot the snow far enough away that i don't have to get the shovel out to cut it back for the next round of snow.
