Issue with Snow Thrower

Have many Worx products and this is the first one I have had an issue with. Same as another customer. Put in fresh batteries, unit would work for a few feet and stop, repeat until frustrated. I did take it into my shop where it warmed up. Took it out and worked fine. Later tried it after it was in the cold for about 90 minutes and workied for abut 15 feet this time and started the shut down issues again. Unit will do exactly as I hoped, just need to resolve this problem with either a fix or replacement. Also the crank for turning the shute is not real good, Froze up at one point. Easier to turn shut manually than with the crank.

Compact, Light, Powerful Snowblower

After several low-snow years here in PA, I felt it in my bones that 2021 was going to be a snowy winter so I purchased this snowblower a few weeks ago. It has paid for itself BIG time over the last 10 days! I've been leery of battery operated snowblowers till WORX finally offered one. And this little blower has torn through several inches of wet, heavy snow and even compressed sleet. I found 6-7 inches max to be optimum (otherwise the batteries drain too quickly). I got about 30 minutes of use per charge. That said, having 2 extra 20v 4amp batteries to swap out was the way to go to ensure I could finish the job without breaking. Easy to use (I'm 5'1" retired female), easy to store, and highly dependable (didn't clog once through tough conditions). That said, be realistic, this isn't a 2 foot tall monster gas powered blower and won't perform like one. But it sure saved me this VERY snowy February 2021. I own several and LOVE all of my WORX products! Keep them coming).
I would recommend this to a friend!

Works well

First of all, it works as specified. But, I am 5 foot 4 inches and it is a little harder for me to operate. It could use some wheels. It’s top heavy as the batteries are located there. It throws snow well, but our drifts are high, so the right and left throwing capability is useless.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I already have batteries, double charger, etc. The point of WORX is supposed to be interchangeable. I will not buy this expensive, redundant product. Really disappointed in WORX this time.

Very Disappointed

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I couldn't wait to use this after it arrived! Unpacked and assembled right away! Put a full charge on the batteries and 2 days later we got the perfect little snowfall. 1 1/2" - 2" (maybe) of Beautiful light fluffy snow! Put the batteries in and hit the sidewalk! It wouldn't make farther than 5 FEET WITHOUT SHUTTING OFF! If it cant make it through THAT snow, it will NEVER make it through anything else!

Second one failed in less than a month

I purchased one of these snow blowers in January. It worked once and then began to shut itself off under any load. Support was great and replaced it immediately. The replacement arrive a week ago. The first snow storm was this morning. I fired it up for 2" of snow and it would not blow any. As soon as it touched the snow if shut off and required the battery to be removed to reset it. A new replacement is on its way "once they are in stock". Tech support has been awesome but I can't say the same for this product. I have video if someone at Worx want to see what is going on.

I have several other Worx tools, and love them, especially the brushcutter for our farm, and the chainsaw. I would buy this today, as we have 15" of snowfall, but, until there is a purchase tool only option, I will have to pass. No way way zm I spending money on another charger and battery. It's unfortunate that this option is not offered as is typically the case with Worx products.

Snow blower sucks

I received this snow blower for a gift and waited for a snow storm .well I got 12 inches of snow and the snowblower failed .It would not blow more tan 3 inches at a time or it would shut off

The snowblower will operate more efficiently during periods of “dry/fluffy” snow, rather than wet/heavy or icy snow.
