Not A Wonderful Blower

I decided to purchase this blower as a second one to my Honda-Two Stage Gas Powered Machine, which is FANTASTIC, figuring it would be good for smaller jobs and less snow. I am NOT in ANY WAY comparing them with each other.
Today was my first time using the WORX machine, I I am EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED. The snow was about 4ft. high; in some areas a little higher. This machine is NOT for serious snow, even at a 2ft height. I purchased 2 sets of batteries. They barely lasted 20 minutes, each set. I put the first set into the charger and after over an hour, they are still not charged. The machine cannot go through even 2ft of snow easily. Nothing like the WORX video illustrated! The snow does NOT always pour out of the chute, but seems to be coming out from the front of the machine. This was NOT worth the time it took me to put it together! Most probably, I am going to send it back depending upon the shipping cost. I will search for a better secondary machine.

Great inovation in snowthrowers

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] You don't have to mess with gasoline, mixing oil with the gasoline, and trying to get it started in a snow storm!! Just install the two batteries and go throw snow!!
Also it is very easy to assemble, about ten minutes!!

Worked Through Several Snowfalls!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Here in New York, we have had several snowfalls so far. Some were heavy and slushy and some were cold and fluffy. It helped me clear the two car wide driveway including the big mounds left by the plow trucks, the long sidewalk, and large street corner pedestrian accessway. At first, I was disappointed that the throw was only about two feet when we had the heavy wet snow but then I saw the heavy two-stage snowblower used by our snow removal service throw the same distance with this snow so I finally accepted how hard this machine was actually working. The snowblower shut down frequently due to overloading and ice but it did finish the job very well going down to the pavement.
With the cold fluffy snow, the throw was excellent and matched Worx's specifications. It was hard to use the crank to change the throw direction so I ended up using the handle on the discharge chute instead.
I would recommend getting another set of batteries for large jobs.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Like a champ

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I brought this a month ago when we got a lot of snow. Open the box and only took 1/2 hour at most to put together and getting outside to snow blow the driveway. Perfect and had no issues clean the driveway like a champ!

Bought snowblower because I already own Worx blower, edger, and lawn mower. 6 batteries. Chicago just got 3" of light snow on new years day. Fully charged 20V Pro 4Ah batteries lasted literally 5mins. Need to include 20V 6Ah batteries. Please respond, because I would like to return. Or get better batteries.

got it just before recent snow storm. I have a worx leaf blower and weed trimmer and I am very happy with them. not happy with snow blower. clogged constantly
