Well Balanced, lots of torque

Its my fault, I broke my previous model, but the replacement is even better. It is well balanced so you don't get worn out using it, and the rotating head makes trimming up & down as easy as trimming from left to right. If you have to reach out, no problem, it is light enough to handle one handed. This guy has lots of torque so it clips thru small branches like butter. Best of all, the blade gaps are big enough to trim those leaves instead of combing over them. The price is right, this is no toy.

A fine hedge trimmer!

Used my new Worx 24" corded electric hedge trimmer earlier this week and it confirmed that it was the trimmer I was looking for. It's well balanced, smooth operating, and strong cutting ability make it a pleasure to work with. Compared to the 22" trimmers I have previously used, the additional 2" in cutting blade length make a noticeable difference in the size shrubs that can be easily trimmed.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I bought this just over 2 years ago to use in my retirement. Never used until a few weeks ago and kept in a warm room. On its second use, just went "PHUTT" & stopped working. Now I cannot find anyone to repair it, unless you do, but Worx are certainly not interested.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

front handle switch will not go in

will not go in now the unit will no turn on this unit also has a bad lock button
used it one time and had a hard time getting the button to lock i have never used it

Poor Design

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The overall weight of the trimmer is greater than the WG209. What makes it worse is the weight is all frontloaded in front of the handle so it is extremely unbalanced. It makes it difficult to use with one hand. The WG409 was a much better design.
