Was do worried about injuries that I bought a regular chain saw looked at it suspiciously for two weeks and then I took it back. I was so worried that me or my husband would get hurt as we are city folk who now live on 4 acres in the country. Then I found the JawSaw. I would have to work at it to hurt myself!
Cuts like a dream. Have yet to use up battery. I do have two things I don't like. First, it's pretty heavy hold up 10 pound at say chest height and then hold it still while you push the blade mechanism is very difficult. Second, the directions suck. No table of contents and so many warnings it seemed written to protect the company from lawsuits rather than protect the consumer. For example, I actually read the directions but somehow missed the part where you have to push the handle on to make it work so I pulled the trigger and nothing happened. I thought the saw was defective. Overall, very pleased. Does the job and very low risk of injuries.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used this tool out of the box and WOW is it easy to use. the only detraction (which may be my fault) is the chain comes off. I will learn the tool better and go at it some more. Great Buy.

Perfect chainsaw for my needs

I have several Worx tools for lawn and brush trimming, but needed something to cut branches and thick limbs. The jaw is great for cutting old overgrown shrubs and trimming low over hanging branches.
The push/pull action to engage the chain saw feels very natural. The jaws prevent the chain saw blade from skipping around and messing up the cut. What I really like is how it works on the ground. No need to prop the limb up as the blade is set back and won’t cut into the ground. The limb is pulled up into the jaws also. This makes chopping a limb into small pieces a breeze.
Also the battery hasn’t failed during any of my cutting sessions. I rate that very high.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I bought my JawSaw three weeks ago, from WORX. I've had it about two weeks and I really love it. I have had a small problem with the chain coming off - for one day; but I chalk that up to a learning curve on my part. Didn't use it today - Sunday - but will probably use it again tomorrow. Still a lot of stuff to clear.
I am 66, and I find this really easy to use.

I am a Worx fan for life. I was able to trim branches and cut down small trees before the big snow we just had. So easy to use and ready to go. I still have many more projects after the cold weather passes. I have back problems but have been able to use the Worx products with ease. Thank you and keep up the good WORX! :) LOL

Best Of Both Worlds

This tool is so light weight, I can use it and I only weight 110lbs.But it is no light weight when it comes to getting the job done. It makes quick work of my dead branching and under-cutting low growing limbs. Great battery life and plenty of power.

I asked my husband to buy me a chainsaw so I could get our property cleaned up. I’m retired, he is not. Therefore, I have a lot of extra time. He feared me using a chainsaw...I attempted to assure him I could handle it. I’m always on the lookout for more efficient lawn/garden tools. Then Mother’s Day rolls around and he presents me with this, the most amazing tool ever! At first, I was like, really? Then he showed me how to run it and I was blown away at the simplicity of this beast! With 6 acres, half uncleared and full of fallen trees and brush, I put this Jawsaw to the test! I also try to push it to the limits, but it just keeps going. Yeah, I managed to pop the chain a few times, but even I can put it back on. So guys, this is a must tool for any female who works outside. It’s more than safe, it’s super lightweight...no worries about lugging around a heavy tool and no worries about sawing off a limb...it’s virtually impossible with this thing! Don’t hesitate, just get one to see for yourself, you won’t be disappointed!
