I purchase the cordless JawSaw because it was tired of dragging the long extension cord using the electrical chain saw with pole. Its relatively light in weight, but a little awkward because of the weight at the working end of the saw. But,I can do my work quickly. Its a good trade off. Be aware when using the extension pole with the JawSaw you will have to use a little muscles because of the extra weight at the end of the pole. For me a 70 year old person it was no big deal. Just practice a couple time before you use the tool. Yes I am happy that I purchase the tool. I have 5 other tools purchase from Worx. I am happy with all of them
I was already extremely happy with the other 20 volt lithium ion battery tools from worx. I have very limited arm strength, so these fit the bill. I had been eyeing the Jaw Saw for a while, but just noticed it was offered in the battery platform. I got a chance to try it out this week on limbs that had fallen off trees in the yard. They were too large and heavy for me to manage, but with the Jaw Saw, I was able to cut them into kindling for a fire. This is a godsend for me as I have been staring at those limbs for a while now and trying to figure out how I was going to get rid of them, short of asking someone else to do it. It is slightly heavy for me, but since it does it's work resting on the ground, this is not a problem. I would not be able to use it overhead due to the weight and my puny strength, but perfect for my needs.
I bought the cordless JawSaw and cordless Switch drive 67 pcs drill and accessory set for my two sons...I wish I had them available when I was using tools constantly. I look forward to seeing many more innovative products from Work in the future. I can't wait to help my sons put these tools to good use.
I mentioned to my husband how cool it would be to have a battery operated chain saw. I got a WORX 20V for Christmas. I love it because it is light weight, quiet, and I am able to do the smaller work while my husband runs his larger chainsaw. A small diameter, but tall tree, fell in the front yard. I cut it up and stacked it in about twenty minutes. This was a job too small for a gas chain saw but just right for this Jawsaw.
I bought my husband several products for Christmas not sure if he would like them. I must say I was surprised by his reaction. He has worked with many upscale tools and equipment as a Air Force veteran but these products ranks higher with him. He loved them all so much that I ordered 3 more! He was overwhelmed with the ease of use with them all. Thus, making yard work, something he already lived doing, something he makes excuses for just to do more now. Love the products and the ease of use. Thank you Worx for making the smile on my husband's face even bigger!!!!
