Very happy with battery-powered Jaws saw. I'm a 73-year old woman and this is light enough & simple enough for me to use for quick brush cleanup around the perimeter of my yard.
Bought for wife. Wanted safety after a 10" open blade chainsaw bit my hand. This works great, my wife uses the jaw all over our little farm. Battery's nice. Now to see how chain holds up. We are lefties but not a problem.
Was very pleased with the jawsaw was able to trim my pine tree and cut up the limbs to easily throw away. The saw is not heavy and great for for me as I am 64 and have some arthritis.
I received batteries first and charged them all when I received the Jaw Saw I went to work with it the first battery lasted through five limbs and quit. After that the last two batteries made it through two more trees . Not sure if it is worth it! It may be going to be return! P.S The chain was not on all the way when it arrived and needed to be fixed!
I have forty acres of trees to thin for pasture use and fire mitigation, mostly removing the lower limbs of Ponderosa pine trees. For the past ten years, I have been doing it all with a hand saw, and getting nowhere. I am sixty years old now, and wear out easily. This saw keeps going for an hour and a half, longer than I can, and it rips through large branches that have haunted me for years. It will fit in tight areas that even the hand saw has trouble getting into. I love this saw!
Had 30 yards of bushes I need to cut and did the job without any issues. Matter fact, it worked way better than anticipated. I had my 14 yr old daughter do some work and she actually had fun with it(while supervised). Yes, I recommend to all.
I'm in my 70's and this JawSaw made mincemeat out of all the low slung tree branches that made my lawnmowing difficult in places. Wish I had had one years ago!!! And this one happens to be my fourth Worx tool.
