JAWSAW - Perfect for the Gals!

Purchased the cordless JawSaw in 2016, and couldn't be happier! Works great for removing the limbs from large branches, and cutting up large branches for firewood.
For the gals, the Jawsaw is lightweight and easy to use, with far less safety concerns as you have with a standard chain saw. Although it works best if the wood is greener, much of the wood I've had to cut has been down for some time. However, it's not a job too tough for the JawSaw.
I'm very impressed with the JawSaw design and performance. The saw doesn't guzzle lots of oil. Generally I found it only needed to be topped off with each fresh battery installation. My only beef was that it took me a while to get used to how the battery is removed. Seems sort of backwards for me ergonomically, until I got the hang of it, but not a big deal.
The JawSaw is so easy to use you can work it for many hours, so if you're considering the JawSaw, be sure to order extra batteries for the bigger jobs at hand.
My message to the gals looking for a safe and easy to use chain saw... If you can lean on a fence post, you can operate a JawSaw - lol. It's that easy!

easy to use

I bought this chain saw for myself, I was afraid of the traditional chain saws were the blade is exposed. I love it. My husband is not handy when it comes to yard work so I do it all. Light weight. I'm going to buy the pole extender.

Having a small treed acreage that we maintain, I'm forever cutting downed limbs and this saw is wonderful . I have two friends who had purchased this saw and had been raving about it, while I was reluctant to spend the money, it's well worth it. I highly recommend this saw.

I appreciate the safety of this design and I don't worry when wife or older children use it. However, I was surprised at how slow it is. Unlike the advertising videos, it takes arount 20 seconds to go through a 3" oak limb. I think the video is misleading.

An Amazing Product

Being widowed for a few years I have had to assume the yard work completely. Live in a rural woody area. Worx products have made this possible again! I would never use my husband's gas chain saw. Too afraid! When I purchased the Worx Cordless Chainsaw I had no fear at all because of the way it is built. I don't know how I would manage without my Worx products. They are lightweight and so easy to use. Thank you Worx!

Lightweight and lasts long

We bought this to do pruning/shaping of trees and so we wouldn't have to resort to an axe to cut trees down. I charged the battery up, put oil in and set out to cut down a 12-14' tree that was in our sightline. tree had a 4-6" trunk, so not too large, but the JawSaw went right through it and was able to cut it into several 6" long pieces. all on one battery!
