Light, Simple, Rugged. My kind of tool!

I bought this saw recently, and the first time that I used it was an eye-opening experience. I have been using chain saws for years, and have been having good luck with them, both gas and electric powered. But this saw was amazing in that it did all of the things that the promo material said that it would do. I opened the box it came in, read the instruction manual, adjusted the chain per the instructions, filled the chain oiling tank, charged and installed the battery, and had a very pleasant experience trimming my trees. One of the best features of this saw is that the battery lasts just about as long as I do, and we both get to take a break at the same time.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great Tool

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I retired and used to have all the Gas Saws. My strength isn't what it used to be. This is an EXCELLENT Tool for helping with Brush trimming and clean up.

We recently had a few bad storms and a lot of branched fell and the JawSaw made it a lot easier and faster to clean up

Jawsaw is great the extension pole not so much

got one of these to trim my Japanese Maples. The saw itself is a 5 star. Easy to use not that heavy, and cuts really well. However the pole extension is another story. First the connection to the main saw is very bad, A piece of aluminum that is flanged goes into a slot on the main saw, then needs to be bent back to fasten the control box. It's okay if you never intend on taking the pole off, but I took the pole off twice and put it back on and the aluminum tab started to show signs of breaking,,,,with just two times. I put Gorilla tape around it to be safe. Second thing wrong is the weight. Just the saw is very easy with the pole way to much top weight especially if your trying to reach a very high branch. Some places I needed a ladder to reach where I wanted to cut and it got pretty hairy. Needs to be a better weight distribution going on. So all in all the saw gets a five star the pole about a two star. I would recommend this to someone who can handle the weight problem but not someone, say an elderly person who watches the factory videos and thinks it will work that way.

Great Saw

I bought this 20vJawSaw because I needed something that I could handle. My husband has a big chainsaw that is difficult to start and extremely heavy. I wanted something that I could easily start and handle and the JawSaw does just that. Now I don't have to wait til my husband has time to cut annoying tree limbs. I just pick up my JawSaw and get the job done! Best Saw ever!!

Waste of money

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought it a few months ago and started to have issues immediately but was trying to give it a chance and see if I can figure out how to make it function properly. But no success.
1. Chain slips constantly! Rarely, can cut through the branch all the way without slipping. I tried to tighten it, make it looser, even tried tightening all the way, tried putting less pressure to cut slower, tried to put more pressure to cut faster. Once it warms up, it slips! Oil level is fine so not it.
2. Even with constant stop, fix the chain, continue, the battery life is only 30 minutes or so but it takes 3-5 hours to charge it, so if you are willing to fight with the chain, buy electric, at least not going to have to worry about battery life.
I bought extensions pole to cut the high brunches off trees, and pretty sure not going to be able to use it because the chain doesn’t stay on long enough and battery doesn’t last.
So, the moral is find another brand to invest in.
