[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Jawsaw works amazing! It is so easy to use, light weight, and the battery lasts forever! Firewood for the firepit just became a mission! Time to ride the lawnmower and trim trees in the neighborhood for wood!
I bought this late in the season and haven't been able to use it. I live in Ohio and it's been raining or snowing. I can't wait to use it in the spring. I'm sure I will like it, since I have liked all Worx products. I have the string trimmer, blower, cart, hedge trimmer, and now the JawSaw. Wonderful products!
I asked my Husband for this and a leaf blower for Christmas .My Husband has a incurable cancer so now the house and yard are all my responsibility .I'm a 70 year old woman with my own health issues .I needed tools that were easy to use and do a good job.I knew after we had bought a Worx string trimmer that is the brand I wanted and I was not let down. I was able to go through a waist high pile of brush in no time and fit it all into my fire pit. The battery had plenty of power and still felt like it could keep going after I was done. The JawSaw was not to heavy and the controls were easy for my hands to use
I bought my JawSaw three weeks ago, from WORX. I've had it about two weeks and I really love it. I have had a small problem with the chain coming off - for one day; but I chalk that up to a learning curve on my part. Didn't use it today - Sunday - but will probably use it again tomorrow. Still a lot of stuff to clear. I am 66, and I find this really easy to use.
I have several Worx tools for lawn and brush trimming, but needed something to cut branches and thick limbs. The jaw is great for cutting old overgrown shrubs and trimming low over hanging branches.
The push/pull action to engage the chain saw feels very natural. The jaws prevent the chain saw blade from skipping around and messing up the cut. What I really like is how it works on the ground. No need to prop the limb up as the blade is set back and won’t cut into the ground. The limb is pulled up into the jaws also. This makes chopping a limb into small pieces a breeze.
Also the battery hasn’t failed during any of my cutting sessions. I rate that very high.
I bought this saw several weeks ago just in case I might use it. A few weeks later hurricane Michael blew through my yard knocking down several trees landing on my house and deck. I was skeptical at first thinking it would be hard on the batteries but I couldn't have been more wrong. I used it for over an hour and made over 30 large cuts and still had plenty of juice. This is by far the best saw I have ever had for cutting small limbs and brush. The design is much safer than a chain saw and actually fun to use. No gas, limited oil, easy chain tensioner and when you let off the trigger it is silent. It works as advertised and I would recommend it to any one who cuts limbs or brush.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the coolest thing ever! My husband told me I wasn't allowed to use a chainsaw, so when I saw this I ordered it! There is no way I'll cut off any limbs (mine, not a tree's) with this ; ). I love Worx products and am running out of room to put them all!
