Chain doesn’t stay on

I finally took out of box and set up. Have home in poconos with a lot of trees. Tried to cut a 3/4 sapling to test out. Chain came off. Took apart and put chain back on. Reset tension. Tried again. Finished the cut and chain came off again. Put back in shed and used my hand saw. Not worth the trouble
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I am sorry to hear about this. We most definitely appreciate you taking the time to share this with us! Depending on the type of wood being cut, the heat that is produced can cause the chain to stretch. To tension the chain, simply secure it around the sprocket and bar so that the chain is seated then pull the bar forward (outward) to create a snug fit. The chain should be tight enough to fit securely around the bar while leaving appropriate give for tensioning. Take caution that you do not overtighten the chain.

I bought this 4 months ago and have not been able to use it because the chain keeps coming off when I attempt to cut anything. I have had several people try to help me attach the chain but it never stays on. I am finally contacting Worx to see what can be done. I will update.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Purchased awhile back..had several storms with gusting winds that brought down tree limbs..Jaws..worked perfectly in cutting up those limbs..One of the best saws I've purchased..

Recently purchased this JawSaw to use to cut up downed tree branches from the storm. It cut through the tree limbs with ease. It definitely made an impression on my neighbor who was watching as I cut through the limbs. He was amazed how powerful the saw seemed and how easy it was for me (a senior lady) to use. I'm so glad I added this JawSaw to my huge collection of WORX equipment. I also decided to order the extension pole so I could reach lower branches on trees without using a ladder. I absolutely love all my WORX tools. My neighbors are now convinced to start ordering from WORX to get quality, dependable products. Great job WORX ! ! !
