Lightweight and easy to use

I bought mine five days ago as a Father's Day gift to myself and it arrived today. The instructions could have been written a little simpler, however. I used it right away to trim some branches from the tree closest to our house. No problem. It was more than capable. I would have written the instruction like so: "First, you need to check the tension and add oil. Here's how..." The learning curve could have been even shorter.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Easy to use

I bought this because I like to do things myself in my yard, but as a 65 year old woman , I have a healthy fear of regular chainsaws. I feel safe using this and have been able to do heavy pruning and yard cleanup with ease. So sorry I didn’t buy this sooner.

Go cordless - you will be glad you did!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We just received our saw. This is fantastic for what we need in our yard. We have gone with Worx with a lot of yard tools. We are blown away. Follow the manual and you will have no problems and it is so safe for old fogies like my hubby and myself. No kickbacks and the blades, chains,whatever you call them are protected from inexperienced people like us!

Great saw

My wife received this saw for her 61st birthday and laughed. She was not comfortable with a chain saw, Then she began using it. She loves it, taking it when we go to do yard work for older friends. The only negative is that there is no charge indication.
I would recommend this to a friend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm finding that at the age of 70, I'm having to do most of the yardwork as it's getting too difficult for my husband. I need tools that I can use! Worx fits my needs. With the JawSaw, I can easily cut back unwanted lower branches safely. Since purchasing the JawSaw, I have ordered two more items and plan to order more. I brag about the Worx tools to everyone and I definitely recommend their products!

Did the job better than expected!

I'm fighting an invasion of poison ivy climbing up my evergreens out at the edge of the property. I couldn't get to it with all the dead lower branches in the way. The Jawsaw ate right through branch after branch with absolute ease. And then it cut the 3" mother vine for me. Much safer and quieter than gas chain saws. One of the best tools I've ever purchased.

Good performance until it stops working suddenly

Hi,I am from Japan bought Jawsaw in last month.It worked really nice,but suddenly it was getting unstable when I tried to cut the branch on the ground.At final,no work at all.I thought something wrong with motor(overheat etc),so keep it for a while and tried again.It never works.I sent warantee claim with photo and movie to the japanese distributor,but no reply yet.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
