I bought this chainsaw two weeks ago and have cut so many trees and branches without the help of my son who usually have to cut branches or trees in our backyard due to the fact that I can't handle a heavy gas chainsaw. I recommend this chainsaw to anyone that needs a lightweight electric one.

Great use until you need to change the chain blade

I bought 2 months ago and liked this one,lighted weight and easy to use, but there is one thing is not right about it when changing the blade. It said 14' = 36 cm, but if you calculated 14' = 35 cm ( 1 inch = 2.54 cm) ....therefore I can not buy the replacement with any other brand. I saw one comment that the replacement was not good as the original one.

over all the saw works very well the chain tightening mechanism isn' t as good as it could be. there needs to be a separate screw for tightening the side cover and getting the bar lined up. the area inside the cover clogs up and throws the chain off, but that is a problem that a lot of saws have. The chain is very high quality and stays sharp after cutting over a cord of wood. It is a very good saw for the money.

Lightweight and easy to use.

I bought this because I had one tree to take down. I saved time and money doing it myself. I have a couple of neighbors who will use it when they need it. The chainsaw was all ready to go out of the box, just added oil. Cut through my birch tree with no problem. Sharp chain, proper tension. Way less noise than a gas powered chain saw and probably safer. I have used an electric chainsaw before, years ago, different brand. I am very impressed with the quality, weight, durability and ease of handling. I own several other WORX Tools and all are very high Quality. TTHANKS WORX.

Just bought this, this weekend after having a tree come down. Let me tell you, this saw is amazing. Cutting up this tree like it's a twig. I highly recommend this chainsaw for anyone!

gears started slipping the first time i used it. after about the forth or fifth time the plastic gears were shot. lasted one summer. don't waste your money.
