Good saw, good value

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Got the saw and went to work. Used it to trim an oak tree, (up to 9 inch branches). Worked great. The next day went out to get some more done and the chain was so dull it wouldn't cut. Went out and got a replacement chain and it worked well. Need some help on getting the chain sharpened. I will look for answers on the web.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had never owned or used a chainsaw but I needed one to tame a tree that had branched out over my house. I was pleasantly surprised how easy it was to prepare and use the chainsaw. The included manual was easy to understand and quite helpful.

Save your money!

This thing leaks when you let it sit. The standard response is to set upright & that is garbage. There is nothing in the oil line to stop the oil flow. Best bet would be to store with the blade pointed straight up as the oil tube goes around and up the chain sprocket and at the top is the same level as the filler tube which is why it leaks until enough has leaked out to let air in and break the suction. Horrible design!!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

To prevent continuous oiling after operation, we recommend unloosening the oil cap slightly then tighten it again.

I bought this saw on WORX prior success. Every time I have tried to use this saw I get it all prepared set chain tension with the one turn knob and proceed to cut...
1 cut and it throws the chain.

Nice and light weight

Got it last Christmas used it to trim a big pin oak tree iwas surprised at the power cut thru 8inch and bigger logs as good as my little gas saw i used for climing and trimming as stuff happens it would not start electric never has that problem.

Awesome- no carburetor- no fuel to mix

Bought the 10"pole saw- was so impressed I went back and bought the 14 inch saw. Took down a 60 foot tall pear tree that had split- used both saw to take care of limbs and trunk- whole project- no saw problems at all- plus no fuel and no carburetor no worry about. Clean both up with air compressor and WD 40!! I'm finished with gas powered saws!! Awesome product!!!

Perfect size for yard work

I just purchased this saw and have used it a couple of times. Easy to set up, and easy to use. Plenty for power for light yard work. Light weight and fits your hands nicely. I did not want a gas chain saw requiring mixing gas and oil, a spark plug and the mess after. I do wish to came with a bottle of chain oil, as I had to run out and purchase some, but that's a small annoyance. Very happy overall.
