Light duty Chainsaw,"WORX WG305"

I had three large trees to cut down on my property, close to my house,so an electric saw would be ideal..I used the recommended extension cord, and proceeded to cut them into firewood..My experience with 'electrics' is to not slow the motor down too much , by 'forcing' it to cut- just go slowly.These Oak trees were 26" in diameter, and I managed to reduce them to firewood, without ever resharpening the chain..The easy adjust tensioner is a great feature. I don't recommend using this saw for what I did, because an inexperienced operator could overload it...Use it for what it is designed for- light trimming, and pruning. But if you get in a pinch, cut lightly.I believe it's a great saw, reasonably priced.

Best chain saw for the money

I have bought similar priced chainsaws and I was lucky if they lasted one summer. I have had my chainsaw for two years and it works like a charm. I have cut truck loads of branches, and it still keeps cutting along. It is a very comfortable and lightweight saw.

I bought this saw last month. It was delivered on time and came well packaged. The start up instructions were easy to follow and it took only a few minutes to fill it with chain oil and grease the bearing at the tip of the chain.
It's easy to operate and makes a nice cut. This is a very affordable product for the average homeowner who is looking for a chain saw for quick and efficient tree trimming, etc.

At the age of 77 years I can tell you that I have used a number of different chainsaws. Disappointing electric saws, hard to start gas saws and now the Worx 14" electric saw. When I ordered it I wasn't expecting much but the price was right for the work I needed to do. So you can imagine my surprise when I started cutting up the six Ash trees in my backyard and found this little saw to work just as well as the 14" gas saw I just retired. All I needed to do was keep oil on the chain and adjust the chain tension periodically and a few hours later I was done. Great little saw.

Easy to handle

saw does a great job taking down a 15' 8" diameter. if it was not for the power cord laying in the yard I may have mistaken this saw for a gas model. I don't miss pulling and pulling to start a saw.
