Greetings from WORX! There will be a reservoir at the top of the chainsaw that you will fill with oil after removing the oil cap.

Not happy with this saw

I bought the 14" 305 a few months ago. I have used it twice to trim limbs off trees around my house. The saw is powerful enough, but chain will not stay tight. The chain comes loose even with the smallest of cuts and if I cut a limb bigger than a few inches, I have come to expect the chain to completely free from the bar. It is very frustrating to have to re-tighten or re install the chain after every cut. After the chain came off the bar the second time when I was using the saw 4 days ago, I finished trimming the tree with a hand saw.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Hey there! Thank you for posting your honest review. To fix the issue of the chain coming loose, make sure you lift the bar so that it lays parallel with the surface on which it is resting when you are installing it, and also make sure you tighten the chain as far as it will go, then turn the tightening knob to loosen it just a little bit so that the chain won't lock up. These steps will help to fix this error.
Thank you for choosing WORX!

The chain wants to ride the washer
on March 22, 2021

When it works, it works great.
What happens, tho, is that when the saw comes under load, the chain wants to ride the washer above the drive teeth of the motor.
When it does this, I take off the cover, pull the chain off the washer, and re situate it onto the drive teeth. Tighten it up, put the cover on. Start it, and the chain will usually spin OK. However, when load gets put onto the saw, the chain appears to ride up the drive teeth, and wedges itself around the washer. The washer appears to be there to keep the chain on the drive teeth, but there is a noticeable gap between the drive teeth and the washer, and the chain gets itself stuck in that gap.
How can I stop the chain from riding up like this and getting caught?
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Oil leaking after assambly

After I assemble the saw I purred chain saw oil and after an hour all oil was leaked and the tank was empty!! Am I doing something wrong
I would recommend this to a friend!
Response from worx.comBy Heaven Johnson , Customer Experience , August 6, 2021
Hello, we appreciate you for bringing this to our attention. With a saw designed to self-lubricate during operation, a little oil leakage is normal. To help minimize and prevent leakage, we recommend the following:
-Use only enough oil for the task at hand.
-Remove the oil cap and immediately replace it after operation to vent the oil tank. This relieves any accumulated pressure during the oiling process.
-Allow the saw to cool down before storing it.
-Wipe down the saw sprocket area.
-Remove oil from saw before storage.
-Store the saw horizontally when not in use. If you are still experiencing any complications or have any further questions please contact us at 866-354-9679 Monday through Friday from 9 am until 6 pm EST. We'd be more than happy to assist you.
Thank you for choosing WORX!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I can be through cutting before others can get gas ones started. I am not wore out from pulling a rope. I love it.
