I bought the 16" electric, filled it with bar oil and set it in it's box waiting for the next tree to fall. Within weeks, the box was soaked and there was no bar oil left. Not what I expected. Does that mean I need to drain the bar oil out every time I use it so I don't have a mess. Doesn't seem right to me!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We apologize for any inconveniences you have been caused. To ensure your chainsaw does not leak, we recommend that it is left in an upright horizontal position. To prevent continuous oiling after operation, we recommend unloosening the oil cap slightly then tighten it again.
