This was my second Worx edger/trimmer. The Nitro definately has more power and the dual strings cut the time it takes to edge my driveway, walks and beds.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I liked this edger/ trimmer so much I purchased a second one! Has more power and the double cutting string works great. Cuts much faster and cleaner, than single string trimmer, that I also have purchased for twenty yrs or more! I think worx should make a better or stronger cutting blade for string, but still very well

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have many Worx tools. My oldest is a Worx trimmer approximately 5 years old. I'm a old man and it's light in weight and powerful. I also have a chainsaw, hand chainsaw and air compressor. They all get 5 stars.

I am the best edger and small area trimmer in my neighborhood. This equipment is powerful-sharp and works with precision to edge my yard, tidy area around trees and other small areas before my regular lawn guy comes to mow the whole yard. I Love it ..reminds me of a sewing machine. I have bought additional ones for friends who also love it. clean
Recently, I purchased WG173, String Trimmer. I've had far too much trouble with the product from the initial issue. The most troublesome task was trying to work with the "Automatic line feed system. Most of the time it will not respond. When the string disappears, one has to remove the cap on the trimmer spool. Trying to negotiate the strings in the proper order so they don't overlap is a real nightmare. I've spent hours trying to make the system work - - to no avail. I am a mechanical engineer and in all my day, I've never seen a product so miss engineered. Start redesigning your product with just one trimmer spool system. Expect a product return!

This is a much better trimmer than the one I bought years ago. Its powerful and easy to maneuver. The charge lasts much longer than the earlier models and it has 2 strings rather than just one.
