Horrible! Do Not Buy

This was my fourth worx weed eater/edger that I have purchased in the last 10 years. Always had good luck with them which is obviously why I keep purchasing them but this product is a mess. This product comes with a double line feed which is the problem, the feeder line gets tangled up every time you use the line feed. I would have to stop, untangle, rewrap. No one should have to do that and waste their time, I am returning the product and buying one with a single feed
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Recently, I purchased WG173, String Trimmer. I've had far too much trouble with the product from the initial issue. The most troublesome task was trying to work with the "Automatic line feed system. Most of the time it will not respond. When the string disappears, one has to remove the cap on the trimmer spool. Trying to negotiate the strings in the proper order so they don't overlap is a real nightmare. I've spent hours trying to make the system work - - to no avail. I am a mechanical engineer and in all my day, I've never seen a product so miss engineered. Start redesigning your product with just one trimmer spool system. Expect a product return!

I've used this trimmer a few times and so far it's working perfectly for me. Lots of nice features and very adjustable. The wheel for edging is genius!
I had bought another name brand powerful electric with a hinge in the middle and ended up returning it. This one is half the price and works twice as good. I liked it so much I bought a second one for my son.

It runs fine but is too heavy. The first one we bought lasted around 5 years and the engine just quit. But it was lighter than the new one and we got free line with it. No free line with the new one.
