Short battery run time

Love how the mower cuts; does a really nice job. Easy to operate. Do not like the short battery run time. It takes about 1 hour to mow my lawn; no hills, level. If I use the self propel can maybe get 35 minutes if lucky. Push mow about 45 minutes. The cost to get a second set of batteries is about 1/2 the cost of the mower. That is crazy. Have a friend that has battery mower (different brand) & he gets couple hours run time on battery before charging.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Powerful mower-battery life lacking

Second time using tonight. Mower is powerful and easy to adjust cutting height. First time I used the bag- 1st mow of the season. Ran out of battery power before front was finished. Had to charge overnight and finish the next night. Today We weren't bagging and the same issue. Not enough battery life to cut even the front. Guess I'll need to order two more 40 volt batteries to be able to complete the job in one day. Disappointing.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

After my gas powered self propelled mower bit the dust, I decided to buy the Nitro 40V self propelled mower because of my experience with other Worx tools.
The mower is lighter (my back likes this), cuts well and stores well. I have only used it once but the battery failed half way through mowing the back yard. I thought it would go further.
I found the levers backwards from my previous mowers and a little odd (back for self propel, front to engage mower). I found myself losing my grip slightly when maneuvering turns and the blades would disengage.
And the delay in disengaging when attempting to push/pull under bushes is frustrating.
I would like to see Worx increase the delay time for disengaging the blades and decrease the time delay when disengaging he self propel.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Good mower but...

Very nice mower, easy to use, lightweight, intellicut is cool but the batteries do NOT last very long, at all. First time I've been slightly disappointed in a Worx product.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Small lawns only

I purchased the 40V Nitro about 2 weeks ago and have not once been able to mow my entire lawn. I works okay for the price I paid but if I do the recycle mode there are clumps of grass left here and there. Using the self propelled handle to make the mowing easier give me less mowing time but it does make mowing easier.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
