Orange levers to release the handles down. Can I order part number? Also can I put a 8ah battery into my wg753 self propelled lawn mower conpartment will they fit?

I wish I had purchased this in season because its too late to return now. 1. Doesn't cut evenly 2. Poorer than expected batter life 3. Good luck if you need to back u 4. Hard to turn in tight corners

Battery life is very poor.

I was very excited about this mower, but the battery life is inadequate to do even a small yard. The yard was a little long, but not more than probably 4” or 5” high. The batteries only lasted 23 minutes the first time, then I had to recharge them, which took 3 hours. The second time, the batteries only lasted 20 minutes. Long story short, it took two days to mow my front and back yard due to battery charge time. If you can mow your yard every 4 or 5 days and are okay with having the deck as high as it will go, it would probably work great. If you have thick grass or a larger sized yard, look elsewhere… unless you are okay with it taking 2 days to mow your yard.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I hate this mower

Only good thing is it starts easy. Gas mower in my yard done with complete yard 45 min. Can’t lower blade lower than highest cut or can’t get yard mowed in two battery charges. Yard looks like grass chewed off. Run on very slow self propelled mode to save batteries. Correct batteries are always out of stock to have some charging while mowing or at least ready. At first thought operator errors because different. Box got wet and destroyed and did not get pachsged for return. I’m so sorry for this HUGE purchase.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I waited a year for the self-propelled version to come out, slugging through one last summer of a trusty old gasoline mower with finicky starter. I am absolutely satisfied that it was worth it. I live on a rather rustic hillside, and the area to mow is almost one acre. I'm not keeping a golf course maintained, but keeping tidy a tough buffalo grass growing in a natural crushed granite. Coming from a mower that was hard to pull-start, I almost wept with how easy this one was. And the self propelled feature over the hillside was like working oxen, trying to keep my place steady. I got about 45min from each 3hr charge, but previously, I would take a week to do this same area because it was hard on me physically. I did the whole area in one day, and not a bit of soreness. I Live how easy it is to change heights, and fold up for storage. I was near giddy showing my neighbors my new ride.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Lawn Mower is as good/better as my ol mower

I have had my 21" WG753 Lawn Mower for about 3 weeks now and really enjoy it. It cuts well, is lightweight and easy to use. It took some getting used to using the self-propelled feature, but works great. The only thing I am a bit disappointed in is the battery life of 45 minutes. But I purchased 2 more batteries, so I could do my yard in 60 minutes. The batteries last only 45 minutes, but I am happy with the performance overall

I bought this about two months ago. My first mow the batteries made it almost through my front yard. (I live on 0.3 acres for reference) Since then, it is taking me 3 or more charges just to mow the front and another 3+ to mow the back. With having to let the batteries charge 12+ hours who has time to mow every single day?! Do not buy.

First Worx product that I am disappointed

I bought the nitro 40v WG753 near the end of last year. There was no need to use it until a few weeks ago as I live in Canada. Well the mower itself is fine but the two 5AH batteries that came with the mower can only do half of my yard which is just a city lot. I am surprised and disappointed as I was expecting that the batteries can at least finish my yard like other cordless mower I had before.
