A Pleasure to Mow!

My gas-powered mower developed a leak in the gas tank and needed to be replaced. Being a Worx Power Share customer already, I decided to try the 40v self-propelled mower from Worx. Am I glad I did! I have a relatively large yard with a slope. The first time I mowed, I engaged the self-propelled feature, and I was almost able to finish the entire yard. Fortunately, I was able to easily swap out the batteries with another pair from my blower/trimmer Power Share set and finish the job. The second time I mowed, I pushed it without engaging the self-propulsion and finished on one charge. The mower is light enough to push, even on a steep incline.
I love that this mower can be folded up and stored on its side, taking up less space in my garage. It also makes for easy cleaning and sharpening the blade. No more gas leaking everywhere.
The only thing I would change with the design is switching the ignition lever and the self-propulsion lever. It would be easier to hold onto the ignition lever with your thumbs while engaging the self-propulsion lever with your fingers.
I would 100% recommend this mower to any Power Share fans out there. If you have a large yard, I suggest the 80v version. If you have a relatively level yard that's not too large, the 40v push version should suffice.

So easy, cuts better then much heavy old gas mower that was miserable to push even with self propelled. I'm older and needed light and easy. This is perfect and since our yard is terraced with hills the self propelled works great. I've used multiple worx products and never had a problem . I will continue to buy their products. Top notch.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Mower comes fully assembled so all you have to do is unbox and charge the batteries. It's easy to adjust. One lever to adjust the cut height, same with mulch to bag. I have used this mower twice set to mulch on a yard that's about 7500 sq ft and part of it has a slight slope to it. First time I used the self-propel feature about 80% of the time and was almost able to finish on one charge. Had less than 5 minutes of cutting to go. Second time I used self-propel less, maybe about 65% of the time, and was able to finish on one charge. So keep that in mind if you have a yard larger than mine. It's lightweight and easy to maneuver. Cuts good. Only thing I had to adjust to is if you try to pull the mower backwards right after disengaging self-propel the rear wheels lockup sometimes so I found releasing it a couple of seconds while still going forward then pulling backward it doesn't happen. So far so good! I would definitely recommend this mower.

Arrived fully assembled in the shipping box, which was slightly damaged. It was packed well and had no damaged. Charged batteries and began mowing. Very impressed with how well it handled the tall grass, and how nice it cut. It is light enough to push without using the self-propelled feature, but engaging it makes mowing effortless. About 50-60 minutes per charge on the 5 amp batteries. I initially intended to purchase the 14 inch model, but I am so glad I went for the self-propelled one. I would recommend this model to anyone to anyone considering an electric lawnmower. A small consideration for WORX would be to engineer and on-board storage for the side discharge chute.

Waste of Money

This was our second Worx mower. We had to go out and buy it after receiving the first from my dad and that barely worked so we were hopeful a different model would be better, we have the trimmer and leaf blower as well (no complaints about those). Originally the website said that the TWO batteries could mow up to 1/2 acre...We quickly found out that not even SIX batteries could handle our 1/3 acre lot. We though maybe if we change the height and we tried not using the bag that it would improve the run time and it did not. Very disappointed my dad wasted money and that we also wasted money on a product that doesn't preform the way it is supposed to. Wish we all could get our money back.

I absolutely love the WORX product line. I am 81 years old and my last purchase of the 21" self-propelled lawn mower was the best yet. I started with the 12", then went to the 14" and finally gave in to the 21". Thank you for a fantastic product.

purchased Sept 9 2022 not used till summer of 2023 only a handful of times.adjustable handle mechanism broke today and can no longer adjust the handle height. Dual watt 40V battery do not last as long as mentioned in the manual. Cut ok but the dual battery's only cuts 1/4 of the lawn and take an overnight charge to power up again.

Very easy to use, light and self-propeled. Enough power to mow all my yard without recharging. The plastic latch to fold the handle is fragile and can be broken easily.
