I hate this mower. Lucky to get 20 minutes mowing time from batteries. Used to take 45 min with gas mower, now takes at least two days for charging.

Great if you have extra batteries

My front yard is about a quarter acre with lots of obstacles. It takes me about an hour and a half to mow. Yes, I am slow. I usually let my Landroid take care of it, but due to road construction the boundary wire has been clipped. I'm happy with the performance of this mower and the self-propelled feature is a must for me. The only issues that I have had is that it takes three sets of batteries to finish the job. This is not a problem because I have multiple Worx tools, but if this was someone's first purchase it would be frustrating. Oh, and the front wheel fell off this morning. It was simple to reattach it, but I am really surprised that it happened. This is the mower's first season and it makes me a little concerned about its longevity.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought a week ago and use it to cut my 1/4 acre property and the 5.0aH batteries lasted about an hour. Cuts like a gas powered unit but much lighter. Great features like the LED, one lever height adjustment for the cut and multiple cut settings. I had mine on mulch and the power did not diminish. The folding feature is also amazing. A great space saving feature. Love it.

I might have been one of the first to order this because I was determined to own this day one. I've only cut a small patch of grass but let me tell you a self propelled model from Worx has been a long time coming, and it works very well. I've used self propelled gas mowers before and this is the exact equivalent but without gas or oil. I must say, I'm 33yr of age, but I don't see anyone using it at max, so figured it was there for slops/steep inclines. Upon starting the mower it's at it highest rpm but quickly ramps down but I'm curious how sensitive this is since it's automatic. The LED lights are nice and bright and sit next to the button to check the remaining power (wish it was on the handle but not a big deal)
It was worth the purchase for me especially after working 12hrs it's either get it out of the way and enjoy my time off or put it off and deal with while I'm on my off days but with this model it takes any effort out of cutting grass since you don't need to push.

We got this to replace our two year old gas mower (which started having issues after just one year).
From day one, the Worx mower has been easier to use than the gas mower ever was. Though the battery life can be somewhat limiting, it's well worth having an extremely quiet mower the cuts the grass quickly and evenly. I highly recommend this model!

Solid Lawnmower - As Advertised

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this mower in March and have used three times. It is a very solid lawnmower - I like the steel base, even though it adds weight to the unit. Cuts well and love the fact it is sooooo quiet. No gas fumes or difficulty in starting. Just press the button and it starts right up. Cuts nicely and easy to control. The self propelling feature is nice, although I have only used it sporadically to save battery power. Bag is well designed for easy on/off. I have about 1/4 acre to cut, and the batteries last just long enough to finish when not using the self propelled feature. My only complaint is that Worx has better batteries available and have chosen to go with older technology with these - I guess in the spirit of they want you to buy an extra set? It would have been better for them to include the 8 amp batteries, even as an option to upgrade. Something for Worx product managers to consider.
My biggest compliment for this product - it is proven easy and quiet to use that my wife has cut the grass twice since we purchased the mower! This mower has made a great addition to my family of Worx products - if you have other Worx tools and need a lawnmower, this is a no-brainer.

I just bought this mower and used it for the first time. My grass was so high I thought I would not have enough battery power to do the yard one time. Well to my surprise the batteries last for me to complete the job. Great job! Had all the power I needed to get the job done. If you are looking for a mower that is a real work hose this is the one.So much easier and lighter to use the a gas mower.

Did not meet expectations

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this mower after owning a previous 40 volt mower. First time I used it the kill switch bar seemed to be defective because it would shut off even if you let it out less than a 1/4 of an inch. Not a huge deal so the second time I cut the grass I clamped the kill switch down with Velcro which solved that issue. However the mower died before I could finish cutting the entire lawn. When I say entire lawn I only mean the front and sides of my house. I do not have a large lawn and the older model 40v mower that I own would finish the job with power to spare. I replaced the batteries with 2 lower oam batteries that are part of the power share family and it would start up and run for about 30 seconds and quit., I am in the process of returning this product. Huge disappointment.
