Like, but not love

I bought this over a month ago because my Home Depot stringer/weed wacker was a pain to reload the string. The Worx stringer has the automatic button which I like, but it stopped working after about the third or fourth time I used it. I know have to pull on the string with my hand to get the string to come out. Also one of the orange plastic pieces at the bottom keeps falling off now as I use it. It snaps back on, but should be be falling off (see pic). It does not cut through crabgrass easily. The ads make it look so much easier because the turf is in great condition and if it’s not then you need to go back over a few times. I do like the battery system that it uses. I would give it 2.5 stars based on the price vs. quality of the product.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My wife does most of the trimming so she was happy to have one that did edging.however I have a problem with the stupid instructions you provide. They are without a doubt useless. Product is ok but please get better instructions.

Light, easy and versatile

I love the improvements in this trimmer vs the original tool and the fact that I can share batteries with my Worx blower. The height adjustment is especially useful - I am 5" tall. I use this to trim, edge and even do the occasional hedge maicure. It is light and well balanced. My yard is small; I have even used it to mow the grass when my mower wasn't charged enough.
