Love it!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this item several months ago and it works great! Although, when you’re trying to toast buns you’ll have to place it on the lowest setting and cancel it before the timer goes off unless you like burnt buns. That also goes for toast but it only burns that occasionally. Bagels are good between 2 and 3.

Annoying alarm sound but makes great toast

Too Toasty

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this kitchen aid toaster a month ago and expected excellent results. But instead I am not happy with it. Even at the lowest setting my toast is too burned. I should be to warm my bread without toasting brown. For these results I consider this Kitchen Aid item overpriced and the brand name Kitchen Aid earns my disrespect.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Pretty but not functional

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought two of these toasters and both of them have an issue with the shade selector. Even on the lowest setting "1" the toast gets substantially toasted. Burned at "level 2" of "5."

High quality construction

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'd been dealing with a toaster that toasted bread darker on the "inner" side; I figured the element got hotter on that side. I knew I wanted to replace it, but I hesitated on investing in the KitchenAid 2-slice toaster because of the price. I finally decided that having the higher quality appliance would equal longer life, so I ordered one. Unfortunately, this does the exact same thing as the cheaper, department store quality unit I'd used for years. That being said, it is extremely well made, much heavier duty and toasts bread much faster than my old one. I'm still glad I bought it, but disappointed that I still have to turn the toast around to cook the other side, if I want even cooking.

Great toaster

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] excellent toaster, great size and color Only 2 issues to highlight: I wish it had higher settings for browning, I have to put a bagel in twice. Also, I have never owned a toaster that beeps when it has completed its cycle. I am still deciding if I like this feature or not. Overall, I would highly recommend any KitchenAid product as I own several myself
