Bad product, no customer service.

KMT2115 Bought this model 6 months. Horrible product. Never has toasted both evenly or consistently the same way when using the same setting. Every use is a complete shot in the dark. Now the lever won’t stay down. It is now junk. 50 dollar toaster should last more than six months. Contacted kitchen aid twice via their web site and no one responds. Very disappointing. Will not be buying kitchen aid brand in the future on any appliance.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Not a good toaster.

Very disappointed in this. Have lived with it for a few months. Only some of the coils light up. On setting 1 some of the bread is dark and other parts not toasted at all. Both sides toast differently. On setting 2 most of the bread burns. I have other kitchen aid countertops that I absolutely love (professional stand mixer, hand mixer, duo blender) I also have a new convection double oven that I love! Sadly, the toaster is terrible.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Unused settings!

I was very disappointed with my purchace. I love the kitchenaid brand and although I read the reviews, I did not pay attention and bought this toaster. In setting 1, some breads are dark and others are not toasted at all. Toast is different on both sides. at the second time it burns the next bread.
In the settings 2 more breads burn.
I thought it was because of the type of bread, but when I bought other brand of bread, it still burnt.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Works well, looks nice

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently renovated my kitchen and replaced virtually everything in it with new. All the applicances were Kitchenaid so when I noticed the only old, worn out item in the kitchen was a black plastic toaster I purchased 10 years ago, I decided to replace it by visiting the Kitchenaid website. Since all the appliances in our kitchen are stainless, I ordered a matching stainless toaster. It is a fine addition to our remodeled space--looks good and works well also.

Worst toaster- DO NOT BUY

Being KitchenAid brand I thought I was buying a high quality product but this has been the worst toaster I have ever owned. On the lowest setting my toast will come out black. While toasting frozen bagels, I’ve gotten my bagel to come out looking nicely toasted by keeping an eye on it but the center would be partially frozen still. Waste of money, do not buy

Horrible toaster

Purchased for the name and because I had older models that worked perfectly. This model Burns everything. Do not recommend.

Burns Everything

We got this toaster as a Christmas present in 2019 but didn't take it out because we were getting ready to remodel our kitchen. We took it out about 3 months ago and it burns everything, even on the lowest setting. We have had to start using a separate timer to make sure we get the toast out in time. Although it looks great, we are very disappointed in the performance.

Buyer Beware!!!

Do not buy this toaster, it's garbage. I had a similar toaster from kitchen aide for years. It wasn't toasting evenly anymore so I replaced it with this one. You would think a company like this could master the most basic kitchen appliance. It either burns one side or the other, doesn't toast one or the other at all, bagel function has zero affect. You never know what it's going to do, not toast at all, toast one side only ( while not on bagel), or burn one side to a crisp. It's a complete waste of money.
