Nice toaster if you like your toast burnt on one s

I received this toaster about a week ago. It burns toast on one side. The other side is perfect. I have been trying to get in touch with customer service for days so I can return it.
No luck, as I have been on hold for 30 minutes three times and gave up. Maybe that’s Kitchenaid’s strategy. I am very disappointed.

Great. But don’t turn Shade Knob past 2

Perfect toaster except for shade selector function.
If you turn it past 2 toast will be black.
I kinda wonder if the knob was not installed properly at factory.
But it’s still great, just don’t turn that knob past 2.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Suddenly stopped working after exact one year

We bought our kmt21150B toaster almost one year back... We were kind of happy with it except that it was hard on milk breads. It used to extra browned them even on the lowest heat.. So we kept a check on it.. Unfortunately, It died in the morning today without any reason.

Looks great!

Looks great but toasts unevenly. We’ve had our toaster for about a week, it toast unevenly, The inside elements toast one side much darker than the outside elements. To the extent where the one side toasts too much, to the point it burns if not checking it. I’m not sure if this is normal to have such a variance from one side to the other. We had our prior KitchenAid toaster for over 20 years, it was great and toasted evenly. A bit disappointed in our replacement toaster.

good toast, horrible ALARM.

This toaster toasts pretty well for me and the extra wide slots are nice for bagels and odd size bread.
HOWEVER- THERE IS A VERY LOUD !BEEP! when done toasting that wakes my whole house up and gives me a panic attack. I mean this thig is LOUD. whoever designed that feature needs to re-evaluate their career. I'm really disappointed.

After 4 months it's burning everything on one side

It was a nice looking good toaster at first but now after 4 months its burning one side of each slice. I hope KitchenAid will stand behind this and send a new one. Maybe this one is a lemon.

Worst toaster I ever had

I bought this model a couple months ago based on the Kitchenaid name and that I have a Kitchenaid mixer, coffee maker and blender that work beautifully. WRONG! This toaster is the worst, I have it set on “1” the lowest setting and still burns the toast every time!
