So far performing to my expectations Still learning ins and outs of temperature adjustment and burner settings. Took a fair amount of time to assemble but instructions very clear and all parts were there. Indicative of good quality control.
Our second Genesis! A workhorse for our family. We use the grill 365 days per year. Made in America with replacement parts available. When are old went down I didn’t have time to fix it in time for a dinner party-so I bought another one and once repaired our original will go to our second home
This is a major upgrade for us. It's a super solid build. Heavy, no flexing, and feels great. Compared to other grills, our Weber exudes build quality. Rolls easily, heats evenly, and the dials aren't thin plastic that will disintegrate in 12 months. I expect this grill will cook us thousands of meals.
I purchased this grill as a replacement for my Genesis II grill. I was disappointed to learn that the E-315 has differently sized grill inserts which means that the griddle I purchased for my Genesis II will not work well with the E-315. Also there is no access hole on the console face that can accommodate the temperature monitor that came with the Genesis II. Other than that, the grill is fine. Weber’s strategy appears to make the accessory items used with the Genesis II obsolete so that all new accessory items will need to be purchased for the E-315.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I love this grill I previously had a weber for over 12 yrs got rid of it for a smoker a while back. Finally went back to a gas grill got another brand that’s supposed to be similar only cause i got a deal. After using it for 8 months it did not compare at all finally was able to get the good old weber bak and i am so happy i did.
I’ve always used Weber. My last Genesis stainless steel lasted over 20 years before the bottom cabinet rusted through, including the support frame. I live at the coast so I was pleased at the longevity of the old grill. My new one has much better ignition, flare up control, and quicker heating. This one is also stainless steel. It should outlive me!
