Overall does whats needed. I am disappointed in the stainless steel as it does not stay clean after rain etc and you can't get all the marks off of it.
It does seem to have some hotspots. For a new bbq I wou.d expect that would be a bit better.

This my second Weber Genesis and my first brand new one. I bought a used one in 2013 when it was already seven years old. It lasted another 12 years!
My new grill is just beautiful. I just purchased a bunch of Weber cleaning products to keep it looking new. And the price was well under a grand, so excellent value for money.

Weber has cheapened things up. Stainless steel on latest Genesis is low quality. My old Genesis from 15 years ago was a much better build. Surfaces, tables scratch easily and oxidize when at the slightest presence of moisture. Also, plastic knobs and other finishing touches are questionable for a grill at this price point.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This was a replacement Grill of the same model for a worn out one that lasted 11!! Years… Yes, had to replace a few parts overtime. This new grill Does the job BUT, I’m very skeptical about the longevity this time around. It is flimsy and cheap compared to my the exact swap of a to date model. All the material is less sturdy feeling and looking. Nothing is made solid anymore. SAD. DO BETTER! The price should be cheaper for the workmanship! We will see how it lasts…
