The Genesis line is the top of the line for Weber and as expected overall it does not disappoint in terms of durability, design and ease of operation.
Few things that could be improved: 1) installation instructions could be better; 2) the prongs to hold the grilling accessories can be slightly longer; 3) the cover that one can buy separately is very light (read : feels “cheap” not durable); 4) has turn on knobs could be made of metal or heavier material. Overall- I’m very satisfied and have no buyers remorse. I give it 4.5 stars out of 5.
Long time customer of Weber grills, great product although a bit pricey. I do wish they would incorporate a gas tank gauge to monitor amount of gas left ( I know they are sold Separately)
Best grill ever. Higher price well worth the performance. It uses two levels of heat dispersion with the bottom heat shields (as I call them) are on the same level as the burners which minimizes large flare-ups. Also, the valves can be turned down much lower to allow slower cooking when needed. Thermometer in grill top is quite accurate. Also, the cover design holds heat in better thus items on a rotisserie are actually roasted slowly, so the grill doesn't require a side burner as is used in some other grills.
My only comment is regarding the confusion of nomenclature of the current grill model names and numbers. Prior to 2022 the grills were called Genesis II but also had similar 300-series model numbers. Current models are simply called a Weber Genesis grill. Thus what would appear to be a new model, i.e. as a "Genesis II" is actually the older, pre-2022 model. After-market accessories (griddle plate, replacement grill plates, rotisserie) are often described as for a "Weber Genesis 300 series" when they may fit only the earlier Genesis II models. Accessories sized for the earlier Genesis II grills (even though stated as for Weber 300-series models) will not fit my post-2022 Genesis E-315. Not sure if the size difference extends across the whole new Genesis line. I don't have a solution to solve the confusion other than to check, check and question before buying other than an accessory directly from Weber clearly marked for the model on which they will be installed.
I would recommend this to a friend!

bought my weber genesis grill 37 years ago and looking to replace it with a new one, which one will out last my existing grill?
This is our best grill ever - it starts instantly every time, heats up rapidly, cooks evenly, and cleans up nicely. I’ve grilled salmon, NY strips, chops, vegetables, and flank steak - all grilled evenly and perfectly. The anti-flare-up design actually works as advertised. Assembly, with both paper and video instructions, was pretty straightforward, and everything fit together very well, no surprises or jams. I am very happy with this purchase.
Very nice BBQ. Easy to start and use. Heats up quickly and holds temperature well. Reason for only 4 stars is I also bought a Weber cover and was disappointed with it.
