So this is our first real gas grill purchase, having gone for years with a Weber charcoal grill, and then abducting a neighbor’s discarded gas grill from the curb and managing to eke a few more steaks out of it before it fell apart. But it definitely showed us that we wanted a gas grill. I knew I wanted to get a Webber, based on their reputation. I was disheartened to learn that, like so many companies looking to cut costs, they apparently now outsource some parts production to China. Though the website still proudly posts that the grills are still assembled here in the states. Right out of the box, this thing works like a champ. I am completely happy with every aspect of it. Now to see if it continues working over the passage of time, in line with Weber’s reputation!
I have owned Weber grills and they are an excellent product. This new grill is no different. Love the grill. When I received the grill one item had a blemish that I could not remove. Called Weber who said to return the complete grill to the store and the store would order a new grill. I had just spent hours assembling the grill and just wanted the one replacement part. Weber would not replace the part. It was just a shelf. Was disappointed with that. The only other problem is Weber places large stickers on the hood and one of the shelves. After removing the stickers glue residue remained which was not easy to remove. Grill is great customer srrvice was not.
I would recommend this to a friend!

At 71 years of age I have been a longtime barbecue griller and have owned at least six. I always read WEBER is #1. I just finished my first month of using my new Genesis gas grille. It deserves the #1title
My only complaint is that after I light the first burner, it takes a long time for burners 2 & 3 to ignite.

We are really loving this Gas Grill! Had a few little hiccups putting it together, but its very sturdy and moves easily. Heats up nicely, holds its temp and adjusts temp easily. Have used the rotisserie and really like the way its set up....works great! We didn't want a side burner so this model is perfect for us! Looking forward to using this grill for many years to come!
