Have had for about a month now and I’m generally pleased with it’s performance. Gets to a high heat quickly and seems to provide even cooking. The searing option is a nice add, but I don’t get the grill marks when in normal mode. Miss the caste iron grill grates on previous Weber.

Same Weber Genesis quality with thoughtful updates

I had a previous generation of Genesis for ~15 years that served me well and decided to upgrade to the new version when we moved into a new house that was plumbed for natural gas on the deck. The new grill has all of the hallmarks of a Weber Genesis (quality materials, solidly built, thoughtful features), with a few updates that make it that much better. The new lid (vs. the older generation), takes up significantly less room in back when opening, helping reduce the overall footprint of the grill. The new burner tubes, plus sear-zone, get ripping hot and cook evenly. Tons of storage in this grill as well, and the closed off side storage is a nice touch as well. All in all, great gas grill (compliments my Weber Summit Kamado charcoal grill).

After years of cheep gas grills, I’m never going back this Weber is by far the best quality even cooking gas grill I have ever owned! So much that I bought a q1200 for my camper to replace the 18” Weber kettle!

The Genesis E-335 has been wonderful so far. It cooks evenly and quickly with minimal cleanup. There is plenty of room even when cooking for larger groups. I like the way the warming rack folds down when not needed to give access to the rear of the grilling surface. The tray storage and the large storage space underneath has cleaned up my grilling area. I look forward to buying the griddle and wok attachments and trying those with family. I highly recommend this grill!

Good grill as usual.

My older Genesis had no reasonable provision for a rotisserie for a product larger than about 5 inches in diameter. I lived unhappily with that for a long time but finally decided to upgrade since the newer version is better designed for that. However, Weber's rotisserie is not well designed, so I went with another brand. The grill is great as usual, starts every time, but the lack of any tank gauge or weight gauge means guessing on tank lifetime. The placement of the tank inside the cabinet is really inconvenient and a strain on my old body. Bad choice, Weber. So far, used the rotisserie for chicken - worked great if you get the trussing right. (Hint: Weber's trussing instruction is not right.) Otherwise I bought the griddle pan (and used a lot of gas and time seasoning it as instructed) for the "Weber Crafted" frame kit. It looks good but haven't tried it yet. The rest of the frame kit looks not very useful. Wish I could be more positive since I've owned Weber grills, charcoal and gas since 2001. Weber used to be more spectacular.
