I’ve always had Weber BBQ. I’m a basic bbq’er and like my base storage space. This base has a structural angled bracket that I feel interferes with storage. There is an additional side storage compartment that could be handy but feel with the extra round grill supplied that is where I would store it. Again I don’t use the round grill so I feel it’s a waste. I did notice the area for supporting the tank doesn’t have the visible scale showing the approx gas available in the tank. I would like that feature back. I’d like to see the light provided for night time cooking as opposed a option
Otherwise it’s new and a pleasure to use.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Thank you for your feedback on the Genesis S-335 Gas Grill. The tank scale is available for purchase on the website and through our Weber Customer Service team. Please know that we are constantly working on ways to improve our products and our customer experience, and we are happy to pass your feedback along to the appropriate team. Thank you!
We've always wanted to have a natural gas grill and finally had the opportunity. The Genesis S-335 is great looking and well made. The burners provide consistent heat distribution for more predictable cooking over a propane grill. The accessory grill insert gives a lot of flexibility in how you can use the grill with pots, or a wok, getting them closer to the heat source for hotter cooking temps in the pan. We are pleased with our Weber grill.
This grill definitely should’ve had a built-in propane gauge. Buying this as an added option after sale is ridiculous. I’ve had gauges on other Weber‘s the Genesis is top of the line why wouldn’t it come with it??

Your feedback is very important to us. We understand your frustration with not having a tank scale on the newest Genesis models, and we apologize for the inconvenience it has caused you. Please be assured that we take all consumer feedback seriously and will relay it to the relevant team. Please don’t hesitate to contact us directly if you need assistance. Thank you!
Love the new Weber grill. This is my 3rd one. Gets hot fast. I do NOT like the fact you have to use the starter to ignite each burner one at a time.. This will wear on the ignition using it 4 more times than necessary per cooking session.
I’ve been using Weber grills for the past 15 years, cooking on them several times a week because of how convenient they are. In my experience, Weber makes some of the best BBQs on the market. This model is once again cleverly designed and very well built, the quality and reliability I’ve come to expect.
I had my first Genesis last for 25 years. Webers are the best. They last and are without a doubt worth every penny!

Poor quality compared to older models

What a disappointment. I replaced my 19 year old genesis 3 burner + side stainless grill with the current equivalent. No propane gauge. A huge gap all around the grill box that allows all messes and spills to fall directly into both the side storage and the tank area. Much less stainless steel and much more flimsy material used. Even with an official Weber cover, which is slightly too short, rain water accumulates directly between the bottom of the doors and the base of the tank storage. Which i am sure will cause the tank storage box to deteriorate quickly. Sadly you can no longer count on the Weber name to be synonymous with quality. If you have an older model Weber, do your research, view product in person and compare other brands before buying.

Weber is chopping value from their Genesis line

I have been eyeing the Genesis S-335 for a couple of years now. Watched ton of reviews and was excited about some of the features and value they included. Well anyone that is looking to buy this grill after 2024 please note the following omitted features:
1. No longer has the fold out warming rack. It is now just a smaller single wide. 2. No propane gas hanger gauge. 3. Smaller right side table. 4. No more shelving within the base cabinet. Just a wide open cavity. 5. The heat shield on the lid of the grill has been shrunk.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
