Genesis S-335 natural gas grill. Very disappointed. For steaks you have to use the sear section from start to finish and it doesn't sear at all, it just cooks the steak. My old Genesis I bought over 30 years ago didn't have a sear section, yet it would sear on high heat anywhere on the grill. Also, we have had one cold spell and the starter button would not work. I guess I'll have to use my Bic to start the grill once it gets cold again. What a waste of money!

We appreciate that you have been a long-time and loyal Weber griller, and we apologize for the frustration with your new grill. We would never expect our grills to perform like that normally, and we are here to help troubleshoot the heat and ignition issue you mentioned.
Temperature and ignition issues are a sign that your new grill might not be correctly adapted to the natural gas line per the instructions in the grill owner's guide. We would like to offer further assistance to improve your experience. Please look for our email outreach soon. Thank you!
This is a solid replacement grill, but it is missing some items I come to expect from ANY Weber grill. The most significant thing is there is no gauge to tell you how much gas you have left, it is only available with the higher level grill and it is a big miss for this grill which is NOT inexpensive.

Thank you for your feedback and for being a longtime Weber griller! We apologize for the disappointment with the change from an LP tank scale to the LP tank hook. We will ensure your feedback is passed to the right teams!
Your satisfaction is important to us. Please look for an email follow-up from our Specialist team soon. Thank you!
Replaced my 2006 Genesis grill last month with a newer version. Significantly lighter gage stainless steel and materials than the predecessor and cost twice as much. Heats up very well and so far I am very satisfied. Components are definitely not the quality from before and am hoping they hold up. Like a lot of things they are not built like they used to be.

We have been needing a new grill. We have had charbroils mostly but decided we would try a Weber. We waited for about a year till we found one with what we wanted and price couldn’t be beat. We got best of both worlds. I assembled it myself. By no means am I a grill pro. But the steaks I cooked on grill the very first time came out amazing. The one difference I notice about the Weber compared to the other grills I have owned are the burners, the flame appears more controlled and precise. I am looking to get a griddle for it so maybe start cooking some other stuff on it other than just meat.
No slide out tray for cleaning as I believe last year's model had. No hood light. No dial lights that I know of. Unsure how long to run it for the initial burn in and couldn't find it in the instructions. Cooks well but wish it had the features earlier models did. I do like the large thermometer on the hood and large stainless steel grill. A natural gas grill is the way to go if you can.
I have always purchased low cost gas grills and I always hated it when my wife asked me ti grill out. Then a friend talked me into buying a Weber. I can’t believe the difference!!! No moving the steaks around from hot spots to cool spots. No more opening the hood to find I need a fire extinguisher to save my burgers. Even my first try at putting a whole chicken on the rotisserie turned out awesome. Now I’m trying to think of new things I can cook because for the first time I actually enjoy it.
