The grill definitely was worth the cost. It was well made with quality parts. Putting it together did take a while, so I suggest give yourself plenty of time. It cooks very hot and seems to cook evenly. The side burner works well and has plenty of flame. Overall, I am very happy with it.
Good Grill, beware of defects. I assembled the grill which was pretty simple and easy. The cover came pre-assembled. The lid does not shut without catching on the side bottom portion of the grill. Something is warped or not made to standard. Unfortunately you will have to but the grill and either have it assembled or assemble it yourself to find out if yours is warped. Don't know if this is a known issue. For what I paid, I expect a little more quality.

I put it to the test immediately with a thick New York strip steak! After fifteen minutes of preheating, I seared the steak to perfection and finished it off at four hundred degrees with indirect heat.
This is what I have been looking for! This grill reached seven hundred degrees in just fifteen minutes. With fully a controllable temperature range, there are limitless possibilities.
Assembly was a bit challenging for my wife and I, but we completed it in 8 hours of assembly time. While pre-burn and curing several times (instructions recommended 2-3 times; I did it 5 times) was time consuming and used about 1/8 - 1/4 of a tank of fuel, it was well worth it. The grill cooks meat perfectly and because of the care given in the curing process is very easy to clean up. We love the grill.
