I was hoping this would function like a true flattop griddle and not some compromise. It doesn’t disappoint. This cooks just like a flattop, and I don’t feel like it lacks for anything.
The one thing I was concerned about was the grease management. After cooking several meals, I have no issue.
Now I have the best of both worlds, a grill, a flattop griddle, all within one footprint. A very versatile kitchen all within one device.
I would recommend this to a friend!

This is a nice way to get griddle cooking without having to add a whole new grill. Apart from cleaning my Genesis 300 series grill, the conversion was easy. I can also switch back and forth between my griddle and my original grates. Very satisfied with this solution.

We are very happy with this purchase ! Easy to season and easy to clean. Once seasoned, the surface does not stick. We have been using a small amount of Avocado oil when cooking and it works perfect for the griddle. This item has completely expanded our outdoor cooking menu options. Worth the investment !
