This thing is an absolute game changer! I’m a Weber kettle or smoky mountain guy. I have eight- CHARCOAL FOR LIFE!! But, the house we bought came with a Spirit 330 as part of the outdoor kitchen. After months of it sitting there unused, I bought this flat top, and WOW. It was pretty well seasoned out of the box, distributes the heat evenly, and was exactly what this gas grill needed. My only regret is I didn’t buy it sooner!! I’ve been using it several times a week now when I would’ve used my cast iron pan inside and love it.
The Weber griddle for my Spirit is the best thing that has come along in my many decades of experience with backyard BBQ. I love it and can't wait to use it every week. Thanks, Weber, for your creative thought. Keep it up.
I love my new Weber Griddle. It fits perfect in my Genesis II Special Edition. Cooks like a champ 🏆 Fried eggs are amazing to cook on this griddle. Best investment I made.
The griddle insert is very well built, but the design could use some work. The front openings let too much heat reach my hands while cooking, and the large opening in the back doesn’t make sense to me. Also, the fat drain isn’t aligned with the bottom tray, which makes cleanup messier than it should be.
I would recommend this to a friend!

This is a great product and you can keep only one unit. No need for a Separate grill and griddle. Only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is the price.

I bought this a little after it came out and I rated this 4 stars I didn't rate it 5 stars because the grease system should have been thought out a little better. I have a 36 inch blackstone and the steel on it doesn't come close to weber's quality steel. I have a low spot in the middle of the blackstone from warpage from high heat, and the steel has angle iron welded to the back of their cooktop for strength and it still can't compare to weber's cooktop. Weber's griddle tops are the best because they handle high heat with absolutely no warpage.
