This griddle is amazing, well seasoned even when new, plenty rugged without being too heavy, and heats quickly. I previously owned a large griddle that sat on top of the grates and this is far superior. It fits well so it doesn't move at all when cooking, it sits lower and closer to the burners so it heats more quickly and evenly. I have been using this griddle to cook everything this summer!!

I owned a Weber Genesis 330 for several years and was very happy with it. My wife and I decided we wanted to try a griddle. Initially we thought we'd need to get a stand-alone griddle in addition to your grill. That made for a crowded cooking area on the deck. I found this griddle replacement almost by accident. It saves space and costs significantly less than a comparably sized stand-alone.

Couldn’t be happier with the griddle top. It’s very well-made, perfect size and surprisingly large enough to fit everything I need to feed a family five. Also, Great did I do not need to buy a whole another grill. This insert is perfect and makes my current Weber, which I love versatile.

Purchase this thinking I would use it as an alternative once in a while. I currently have a high end stainless griddle. This thing works beautifully, and fits the Searwood just right. Highly recommend if you like to do griddling.
